Telecommunications Engineer
The role of Telecommunications Engineer is to provide a support function to the Telecommunications sales team through the provision of assessment, consulting, configuration, installation and after sales service.
The key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Perform site surveys.
• Provide technical advice to the Sales Representatives.
• Attend prospective and existing customer meetings.
• Prepare a hardware component/parts list required to meet the needs of the prospective customer.
• Perform configuration and programming of communications platforms in preparation of delivery and installation of systems.
• On-site training with customers.
• Attend training courses.
