A senior candidate is required to step into the role of a Regional Network Manager for a regional water authority. Based in Bendigo the role will require the successful candidate to provide the safe, cost effective management and operation of all urban water and waste water networks within the water authorities area of operations.
Reporting into the General Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for a works budget of up to $20 million a year and will directly and indirectly be in charge of up to 30 subordinates. This role will require significant independent judgement and decision making and as such requires a candidate that is confident in their knowledge of the water sector with relevant experience operating within a Water Authority.
To be successful in this role:
- A tertiary qualification in Engineering
- Specialist knowledge of legislation relating to the provision of Water and Wastewater services.
- Experience within water utility management and operations
- A strong commercial knowledge
- A proven ability to train develop and motivate staff
- Exceptional communication skills.
