Beaconsfield Mine JVOccupational Health & Safety TechnicianThe Beaconsfield Mine Joint Venture requires the services of an Occupational Health & Safety Technician to join the site Health and Safety team on a permanent full-time basis.Reporting to the OH&S Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Providing OH&S support to mine operations Conducting and participating in audits, inspections, risk assessments, incident investigation and hazard reviews. Contributing positively to health & safety initiatives, incident prevention and continuous improvement strategies. Promoting a safety culture through leading by example. Assisting in the delivery of training of Safe Working Procedures.Prior experience within a safety and training role preferably within a mining, processing or heavy industry are required and the completion of, or currently undertaking study in OH&S Certificate IV, Diploma or equivalent would be highly regarded.This position requires a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to contribute positively to a small and dedicated team.
