An exciting opportunity exists for a Sales Engineer with experience in the packaging industry.
The Company
Based in Seven Hills, this small and friendly company has been in operation for 30 years, and specialises in supply and service of processing and packaging machinery to the food industry.
Due to expected future growth, a vacancy for an additional Sales Engineer has recently been created.
The Role
Answering ????? ????? the Sales Director, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new business and managing existing customers.
You will be responsible for sales of a range of packaging equipment and service contracts within the food industry.
You will also be required to ensure smooth delivery of equipment to your customers, including procurement of machinery from manufacturers, ensuring ????? ????? data is in order before the order is placed, and management of any related logistical matters.
In depth product training will be provided locally and possibly in Europe.
The Person
We are seeking an honest, hardworking sales professional with an exposure to the packaging industry. Food industry and/or capital equipment sales experience would be advantageous to your application.
You must be a technically minded person who is capable of combining your mechanical knowledge with your consultative selling approach to provide successful solutions to your customers.
You must be capable of identifying new sales opportunities, and following through on long sales cycles.
In return for your efforts, you will be compensated with a generous base salary plus superannuation, commission, maintained motor vehicle, mobile phone and laptop. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work within a stable and friendly environment with a growing, well managed company.
