Service Technician - Mechanical (Field Service)

We are seeking Trade qualified Service Technicians to ensure efficient maintenance of the client’s fleet of equipment whilst ensuring ????? ????? well as Sandvik Safety and Environmental targets are achieved.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The Service Technician (Field Service) is responsible for assisting with product assembly and maintenance on customer sites. The role requires liaising with relevant Sandvik service personnel to ensure site requirements and time frames are met. The role will also require the Service Technician to further develop the relationship with the client for ongoing business sustainability and development.

This will be achieved by:

Adhering ????? ????? Sandvik Mining and Construction OH&S and Environmental Policies & Procedures.

Maintaining clients’ equipment to recommended specifications including:
o Equipment services
o Component change outs
o Fault Diagnostics

Evaluating equipment failures and providing feedback on performance to our technical team on these evaluations and outcomes.

Keeping up to date with product and parts service bulletins and ensures their implementation as required.

Actively promoting the company and its range of products and spare parts.

YOUR PROFILE
You will be trade qualified, ideally with 5 or more years of post trade experience. Experience with Sandvik equipment would be advantageous.

You will have a strong customer service focus and a drive and determination to achieve targets and goals along with knowledge of worksite EHS procedures. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work hours/rosters to meet Sandvik and our customers’ working requirements.
