Electrical Team Leader, Industrial Maintenance

An exciting position exists for an electrical team leader at a large automated timber products factory in Oberon N.S.W.
The job:
- Facilitate maintenance to ensure production requirements are met
- Ensure plant procedures are supported and adhered to
- Development of subordinates to achieve world class maintenance
- Development of systems to achieve world class maintenance, ie mainpac, contractor support, predictive, preventative measures
- Undertake specific tasks as necessary to achieve planned goals for preventative maintenance program
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with all SH&E policies and procedures
- To be involved with ensuring the plant meets all environmental requirements
- Other tasks/projects as they arise
The Person:
- The successful applicant will have a good knowledge of the engineering trade skills necessary to maintain and repair complex processing equipment
- Experience with preventive maintenance and computer based maintenance systems (i.e. mainpac, shire, SAP or equivalent)
- Extensive experience with industrial automation, process control, motor drives, PLCs and SCADA software
- The ability to effectively manage a maintenance and capital expenditure budget.
- Knowledge of the environmental requirements facing a manufacturing site and methods of ensuring compliance
- Working knowledge of the SH&E Regulations, Requirements and Policies.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
