An up and coming manufacturer based in the Bathurst region are currently experiencing an increased demand in its product range on a national and international level. Due to this increase in workload they require a junior engineer to aid the design and development of the company’s products.
In this exciting position you will be involved with:
- Assisting design engineers with the development of new products.
- Modification of existing products.
- Daily use of 2D & 3D CAD software.Use of FEA software.
- Assisting senior engineers with daily duties.
- Report writing.
- Documentation.
- Participation in presentations with senior engineers to both internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 -2 years practical engineering experience within a similar role in a production facility.
- Experience using 2D & 3D CAD software in a practical environment.
- Experience using FEA software is preferable.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills along with a strong background in reporting writing and documentation.
- Right to work in Australia.
This fantastic role will be based permanently in the Bathurst region of NSW. You MUST be willing to work in this location and pay for relocation at your own expense. Salary expectations for the position will range from $45k - $55k + 9% Super depending on your experience.
