Secure your career by enlisting into the Australian Army as a full time Electronics Expert Apprentice (Technician Electronic Systems) gaining a Certificate III in Electro-Technology Communications or equivalent.

 

Salary

• You will start on $37,800* per annum.
• After 11 weeks recruit training, your salary will rise to $42,100* per annum.
• On completion of theory training, it will increase to $59,700* per annum. 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining equipment such as radios & navigational aids, optical instruments & laser range finding equipment, radar systems, electronic vehicle control systems and electronic surveillance and detection systems.

 

Essential Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (who has applied for Australian Citizenship and can provide proof).
• Must have an Australian Year 10 School Certificate (or Australian recognised equivalent) with passes in Science, English, Maths (non modified) and at least one other subject.
• Must be aged between 17 and 53 years inclusive on the date of enlistment.
• Must be medically and physically fit.
