The School of Teacher Education is an innovative and forward-looking group of scholars who are committed to the preparation of high quality teachers for early-childhood, primary and secondary settings - particularly for schools disadvantaged by the experience of geographical and socio-economic inequality. The School operates across two campuses, at Bathurst and Dubbo and staff in both locations share a strong commitment to social justice, environmental sustainability, the valuing of difference and ongoing inquiry into professional practice.

The Lecturer in Early Childhood will be responsible for teaching in undergraduate programs in the Early Childhood and Primary settings. They will participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and review of courses offered at CSU. There will be an expectation that they will contribute to research and scholarship in the area of Early Childhood education.
