Carer Group Facilitator
Perm PT 2 days x 4hrs
Grade 4, Year 1 -5 $47,876
(Prorated for 8 hours per week)
Deliver a carer's support group for carers of children around effective parenting and lifestyle skills.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated skills in organising and facilitating groups.
Demonstrated skills in counselling, and working with families.
Demonstrated experience in working with and providing services to Aboriginal families.
Experience working with vulnerable children and their families.
Understanding of Child Protection Principles.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Demonstrated time management skills and organisational skills
Demonstrated written oral, communication interpersonal skills.
Understanding of EEO & OH&S.
Current driver's licence.
Mentoring ????? ?????
Perm PT 28 hrs
Grade 4, Year 1 -5 $47,876
(Prorated for 28 hours per week)
Provide children, with a parent serving time in gaol, with positive role models and social opportunities
Selection Criteria:
Tertiary qualification in the Human Services field such as Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences etc
Minimum 2 yrs experience working with vulnerable children.
Demonstrated skills in child counselling, and working with families.
Demonstrated experience in working with and providing services to Aboriginal families.
Ability to assess the needs of children and young people.
Understanding of Child Protection Principles.
Proven experience recruiting, engaging and managing volunteers.
Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Demonstrated time management skills and organisational skills.
Demonstrated written oral, communication interpersonal skills.
Understanding of EEO & OH&S.
Current driver's licence.
