The Centre for Citizenship and Public Policy (CCPP) seeks a suitably qualified Senior Research Officer to work on Police Leadership in the 21st Century, a three year large-scale Australian Research Council Linkage Project, providing research assistance and administration support, including the preparation of project plans, liaison with stakeholders, and collation of project information and data.
The Police Leadership in the 21st Century Project broadly aims to examine contemporary leadership and to design a best practice model of leadership as modern police organisations confront the policing challenges of the 21st century.
A strength of this project is its national and international perspective involving New South Wales Police, Western Australia Police, New Zealand Police and the Scottish Police Services. In this project the Centre for Citizenship and Public Policy collaborates with the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics at the , with and with the .
