This is casual position – flexible hours and days. Social & Community Services Award, rates negotiable for the right applicant. Flexible start date

Bankstown Community Resource Group (BCRG) Inc. is a community based organisation focused on developing and implementing practical capacity building programs which seek to empower families through early intervention support and community development. With the view of extending service delivery, BCRG Inc is opening the BCRG Inc Kids Clinic service. BCRG Inc requires speech therapists to work with children and families on a casual basis in one to one therapy sessions. Further work may become available in the future undertaking individual and group sessions specifically with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Essential: 1. Degree in Speech Therapy,

       2. Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology ;

       3. Minimum of 1 year experience;

4. Experience working with children and families with additional needs                       using a strengths based family centred approach;

       5. Demonstrated ability to provide speech therapy services to children under 6 years and / or up to 12 years of age;

       6. Knowledge of and experience in working within a multidisciplinary team and liaising with other therapists and professionals;

       7. High level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;

       8. Current NSW drivers License and access to a comprehensively insured car for work purposes,

       9. Includes details of 2 work related referees

Desirable: 1. Current membership with speech pathology ;

2. Demonstrated ability and knowledge to work with children and           families from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds;

3. Experience in working with children with ASD and children with developmental delays;
