    Bankstown Community Resource Group (BCRG) Inc. is a community based organisation focused on developing and implementing practical capacity building programs which seek to empower families through early intervention support and community development. With the view of extending service delivery, BCRG Inc is opening the BCRG Inc Kids Clinic service. BCRG Inc requires occupational therapists to work with children and families on a casual basis in one to one therapy sessions. Further work may become available in the future undertaking individual and group sessions specifically with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
     
    Essential:       1. Degree in Occupational Therapy,
              2. Eligibility for membership of OT Australia;
     3. Minimum of 1 year experience
     4. Experience working with children and families with additional needs using a strengths based family centred approach;
             5. Demonstrated ability to provide OT services to children under  6 years and / or up to 12 years of age;
            6. Experience in sensory processing;
            7. Knowledge of and experience in working within a multidisciplinary team and liaising with other therapists and professionals;
            8. High level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
            9. Current NSW drivers License and access to a comprehensively insured car for work purposes,
           10. Includes details of 2 work related referees
     
    Desirable:        1. Current membership with OT Australia;
                               2. Demonstrated ability and knowledge to work with children and  families from culturally and linguistically diverse  backgrounds;
                              3. Experience in working with children with ASD and children with      developmental delays;
