Alcohol & Other Drugs Youth Worker

22.8 hours per week

Applications are invited from suitably qualified people who wish to be part of a

dynamic and creative team committed to best practice in the alcohol and other

drugs field.

The attributes you will bring ????? ?????:

• Relevant professional qualifications, such as Youth Worker or Welfare Worker.

AOD qualifications or willingness to undertake relevant study is required.

• Knowledge of the alcohol and other drugs field and the ability to facilitate

young people’s access to a range of psychosocial and support services.

• A commitment to working with young people who require assistance in

controlling their substance abuse.

• Sound counselling skills.

• Loads of enthusiasm and the ability to work well both autonomously

and in a team environment.
