Due to an internal promotion our client is looking for an experienced Transportation Planner for a great team .

The key skills we are looking for and which play an integral part of the position are:
Excellent networking capability which supports appropriate regional profile and key stakeholder relationships.
Successful planner and tactician enabling completion of tasks and activities. Clear and stimulating communicator.
Strong analytical thinker able to blend corporate agenda with current priorities.
Sound understanding of scheme assessment criteria.
Sound understanding of transport modelling and the application of transport modelling to strategic planning and activity evaluation.
With a background in the following:
Experience in dealing with the management of multiple issues in a sensitive and political environment in a systematic way.
Hands on experience in the development of large projects through Resource Management Act procedures would be desirable.
Substantial experience in relation to reviewing transport models, and the evaluation of activities in accordance with generally accepted best practice is very important.
A Bachelor of Engineering ????? ?????, or equivalent, together with professional recognition is highly desirable.
Experience in the transport sector or related civil roading construction is required
