Our client is one of New Zealands largest specialist Traffic Engineering ????? ?????. They offer a full range of professional services within the transportation industry, and have been involved in a number of high profile projects throughout the country. Due to recent growth and expansion, they currently require a Transportation Engineer to join their team.
Reporting to the Directors, the Senior Transportation Engineer will contribute at a senior level to a wide variety of tasks, involving development of new and existing client relationships, preparation of tender and job cost and project management within tight deadlines.
This is a crucial role within the company reporting to the Directors and will require significant team leadership abilities to coordinate teams within the Auckland and other national offices to assure best quality service to the client.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Business development, new and existing relationships,
- Project ownership and direction, including preparation of tender and job costs and project management within tight deadlines.
- Preparation and presentation of completed project reports
- Initiate, conduct, collate and analyse background studies
- Commissioning and development of computer models
- Training and supervision of staff
You will need a relevant tertiary qualification, at least 8 years experience in traffic engineering ????? ????? transportation planning, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to run computerised traffic analysis models and design. A current drivers license, the ability to lead a team and also work autonomously are a must for this role.
