Openlink AVS Developer

Main Function

This is a great opportunity to join an exceptional project team within Commodities IT. The team will be responsible for performing the upgrade of one of the main software application within the division. 

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to work within a team of highly motivated professionals.  You will be responsible for developing business critical enhancements to our main Commodities platform, Openlink. Typically these are developed using AVS and Sybase T-SQL. In Q2 of this year Openlink will be upgraded to V8 and the database ported to Oracle.

 

Main Duties 

As a member of our minor works team you will be responsible for:

o Analysis, Development, Unit Testing, Management of UAT and Implementation Preparation for minor enhancements to the banks code that sits around the Openlink vendor application

 

Quality

o Should have a good appreciation of the software quality lifecycle, with emphasis on the importance of the development stages.

o Must also be able to maintain the project standards and ensure that they are adhered to, as well as proactively trying to add to these standards whenever possible.

 

Person Requirements

Experience Required

o Extensive Openlink development experience.

o Extensive AVS development experience.

o Experience of developing with Oracle PL*SQL

Skills ⁄ Aptitude Preferred

o Autosys

o Clearcase

o Sybase development experience

o C# development
