Are you an accomplished Site Supervisor with a strong track record in Residential Construction with a minimum of 2-3 recent years experience in the Residential sector? (please note: applicants must meet this requirement in order to apply and have a current valid Australian Working Permit)

Your primary duties & responsibilities summarised as follows:  

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all labourers and subcontractors on the site and ensure that all work is done in accordance with the Contract Specification and the quality requirements of the contract  
  
• Establish the construction site and set out services, sheds, etc  
  
• Ensure that all personnel are properly inducted and have access to information, on site training, and sufficient materials and equipment to enable completion of the contract in accordance with the Contract Specifications  
  
• Order builder supplied materials and equipment required on day to day basis  
  
• Ensure that work proceeds according to schedules provided by Construction Manager and take action where required to meet target dates  
  
• Coordinate the activities of subcontractors and ensure site ready for their trades people by scheduled start date  
  
• Advise Construction Manager of required variations and assist in raising variation orders.  
  
• Maintain the site in a safe working condition and comply with Company policy in relation to safety  
  
• Record all accidents and incidents in site diary and complete accident reports for to the Construction Manager  
  
• Maintain paperwork (site diaries, site instructions, variation charge sheets, orders) and provide to the Construction Manager on a timely basis  
  
• Attend Site Managers meetings to maintain awareness of Company activities  
  

The successful candidate will have proven experience in site supervision or management roles within in the residential building field; proven people management experience and experience in managing safety on site through a sound knowledge of OH&S Principles and Regulations are encouraged to apply.  
You will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing and good computing skills in email, Windows and Microsoft packages.   
The remuneration on offer for this position is subject to the qualifications and relevant experience of the successful candidate, it will be possible for a Site Manager with significant experience in residential projects as well as the capacity to train younger team members to achieve $95k package including vehicle allowance along with a laptop computer and mobile phone.
