Senior Resident Engineer, Expressway > Colombo, Sri Lanka

My client is looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to join their team in Colombo, Sri Lanka to work on a large key Expressway construction project. The position requires applicants to have extensive demonstrable experience representing the client on site in a Senior Resident Engineering ????? ?????. You will also be required to have spent a substantial amount of time on the construction of mega expressway projects.

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, preferably a masters in Project or Construction Management.
Minimum of 15 years experience in the construction supervision and design of large Expressway projects.
Experience in managing a similar project in Asia would be highly beneficial.
Experience with similar projects in soft ground conditions is essential.

This position is a 24 month contract with an immediate start based in Colombo. You will be responsible for managing the Chinese contractor on site and report directly to the Project Director.
