A global architecture, interiors, engineering, planning and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Urban Planning to join their ever expanding group. It is America’s leading & largest architecture-engineering firm. By 2009, the firm maintains more than 2,000 professional staff across a global network of 24 offices and is active in all major architectural specialties
Responsibilities:▪ Project Management
▪ Manage a series of different projects at the same time
▪ Manage 10 subordinates (if in urban planning team) or 60 architects (if in architecture team)
▪ Deal with Chinese clients to communicate, negotiate & bring business in
▪ Work with your team to do proposal, contract & communicate with clients on a day – to – day basis
▪ Manage 10 designers in the urban planning team or 60 architects in the architecture team
▪ Travel 50% - 60% to manage projects in China
Requirements: ▪ Relevant Bachelor’s degree at least, higher degrees are preferred esp. degrees from overseas
▪ 7 – 30 years’ relevant work experience (7 – 10 years’ candidates will be considered for Sr. Urban Designer role whereas 10 – 30 years’ candidates will be considered for Sr. PM/Director role)
▪ Must have China work experience esp. from some multinational companies, overseas experience is a plus
▪ Was previously an Architect or Urban Planner, not interior designer
▪ Fluent English & Mandarin skills (candidates without mandarin skills can be considered for Senior Urban Planner role but not the Sr. Project Manager role)
