Landscape / Open Space Planner

@leisure is an industry leading consultancy based in Ascot Vale providing specialist services in sport, open space and leisure planning. We undertake a broad range of projects including the preparation of master plans, strategic and business plans, sports governance, facility feasibility studies, and related tasks for clients that include state and local government, state sports associations and local clubs.
The Landscape Planner will report to the Director, however they will need to work with other staff who are project managing jobs where landscape design skills may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare master plans for parks, sports facilities and other open spaces
- Prepare costings for capital works for outdoor sports and recreation facilities and landscape works
- Prepare layout plans and concepts, and illustrations for feasibility studies, facility plans and more.
Requirements:
- A good understanding of landscape and open space issues and be able to assess sites and areas for outdoor recreation
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to write clearly and concisely
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small dedicated team
The salary will be negotiable depending on skills, qualifications and experience of the successful applicant.
