Construction Careers have been retained by a young and growing Building Products company based in Sydneys North Shore who currently employ around 30 people.
They supply and manufacture innovative / one off special products used widely in Upmarket Commercial / Residential projects such as Shopping Centres ,hotels, Five Star Residential apartments etc.
They work closely with leading Architects and Interior Designers to provide flexibility and creative freedom of customization to achieve the most spatial solutions. They offer materials ( EG Glass/ Wood/ Acrylics/ Plastics etc.) that enhance light, colour and texture of the interior environment while maintaining the practical and functional objective of the project.
Hence their products are normally specified in the Tender Documents.
As a result of repeat business we are now looking for an experienced operations Manager who can add value to the whole process from Initial enquiry to project Installation and beyond.
The preferred candidate will have :
- At least Ten years experience in Australia as special building products environment as a production manager / operations manager or similar.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Outstanding Customer levels.
- Ability to assist Architects and interior designers with product selection and identification.
- Good leadership skills and be able to mentor and lead everyone in the team from factory workers to senior management.
- Clean drivers licence.
- A hands on approach.
