PROJECT MANAGER - TOURISM, MARKETING & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

An exciting opportunity exists for two exceptional candidates for the position of Project Manager - Tourism, Marketing & Economic Development. The successful applicants must demonstrate extensive experience in developing, implementing and managing tourism, sales, marketing or economic development projects and / or activities. Most importantly, to be a success in the role you must be able to demonstrate initiative, a commercial focus and a track record of achieving outcomes.
It is a requirement of the position to have an Australian Drivers Licence.
Grade 8 Step 1 - $1,190.50 to Step 5 - $1,339.20
The Selection Criteria for the positions reflect the requirements of the fully competent person. However, it may be that a potential applicant without formal qualifications has the necessary experience to successfully carry out the duties. Potential applicants who are either partially qualified or who have a great depth of experience are encouraged to apply. Council will consider such applications and may negotiate with the preferred applicant a lower rate of pay and/or a training plan that ensures that the technical aspects of the position are met.
