This person must beappropriately qualified, with a proven record in animal nutrition research and leadership of a research group, andhave an excellent publication record. Applicants must have strategic planning skills and a proven record ofsignificant grant attraction.This position would ideally suit a dynamic individual who would like the challenge of facilitating the growth of theanimal nutrition discipline at UNE. The nutrition group presently includes a wide range of continuing and fixed-termstaff and postgraduate students as well as collaborators from the Department of Industry and Investment NSW.The School currently houses the headquarters of the Beef, Poultry and Sheep CRCs with significant interactionswith each.This is a five-year, full-time fixed-term position with the possibility of further appointment (or conversion tocontinuing appointment) subject to satisfactory performance and the availability of funding.
