Indigenous Director/Authorised Supervisor

Minimbah Preschool, Primary School Aboriginal Corporation seeks dedicated, enthusiastic Director for a delightful Aboriginal Community Preschool.
As the Director your main responsibility will be to model desired teaching styles and professional practices to staff within the Preschool. You will communicate with staff, parents and children from variety of backgrounds. This is a teaching role, based in the 3-5 year olds room.
To be eligible for this role you must: Hold a 2 year TAFE diploma in Childrens Services or equivalent Have teaching experience with the 3-5 year old age group Have a strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team in a positive manner Hold a WorkCover approved current First Aid Certificate Willingness to undertake further studies Have an understanding of current Regulations in Children's ServicesThis position is designated for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants and is authorised under Section 14 - Anti Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
