An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced sales consultant to become an integral part of an established retailer in the furniture industry. 

 

Homeware Gallery is an expanding business, known for its quality service and products. The company designs and showcases practical, stylish furniture and accessories, catering ????? ????? the domestic and commercial markets.

 

Duties:

 

·         Retail sales in our showroom and subsequent operational and administration duties, including after sales service

·         Liaise with our existing clients to provide them with customer service above their expectations

·         Prospect new clients and new opportunities and maximise resulting sales opportunities

·         Reporting and tracking of client and sales development

·         A 5 day working week including Saturday

 

The successful candidate will possess:

 

·         A passion for furniture

·         Education in a design related field

·         At least 2-5 years experience selling 'high-end' furniture,  lighting, fabrics and / or rugs

·         A proactive sales approach

·         Self motivation and the ability to work alone

·         Skills enabling you to work as part of a small team

·         A current drivers licence

·         Excellent PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft packages essential.  {Knowledge of MYOB desirable}.

·         A professional attitude and presentation easily displayed by your oral and written communication skills.
