Working for this internationally established organisation as the Chief Mining Engineer, will offer great challenges, whilst allowing you the autonomy associated with the title.
 
Leading the  Mining Engineering team, you will manage the evaluation, scheduling and mine planning, aswell as the development of mining projects.  This will include weekly, monthly and LOM planning and scheduling. Other responsibilities will include:
 

• Assisting the Manager Mining with the management of the business unit
• Resource model interfacing, pit optimisation and detailed 3D modelling using - VULCAN
• Cost analysis, mine planning/scheduling and production reporting
• Managing the surveying department and creating good internal relationships with  the production  and engineering departments
• Driving a safety conscious culture and environment
• Mentoring and delivering training  to other professionals in your team.
• Working  as a key part of a team,  with fellow professionals to ensure production targets and budgets are achieved.
