As part of the Lend Lease group, Retirement by Design has been setting the standards in retirement living and creating communities for over 25 years.
The Development Manager will be responsible for managing the Trinity Green project located within the prestigious Mawson Lakes community which is 50% complete and managing the development activities for the completion of Elliot Gardens at Victor Harbour, there are around 10 to 20 dwellings to complete the village. You will also prepare and implement new business initiatives to secure new projects which will include obtaining masterplan approvals and commencing the projects.
This role reports to the General Manager - Development and some of your key responsibilities will be to manage the financial assessments & inputs, gain authority approvals, management of the scope of work, appoint delivery contractors and manage pre-sales objectives & the sales process.
The Development Manager we seek for this position will possess a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent, have a minimum of 10 years experience in the property industry, have sound understanding of the residential and retirement industry, understand the commercial and financial drivers of the developments, be able to identify the target market & position the product & marketing program to fit in with the marketing group, and have a strong knowledge of master planning and feasibility analysis.
