In this leadership role you will apply your technical expertise towards management responsibility for infrastructure and the mining operations. You will drive safety above all else while being responsible for developing a team of people to deliver quality project results on time, at cost and in line with client and legislative requirements.
The Project
South Middleback Ranges is a large scale iron ore operation located outside of Whyalla. Currently undergoing expansion, SMR mines 1.4 million BCM per month making it one of the largest operations currently contracted by HWE Mining.

What skills and experience do you need?
You will have previous experience in a senior management role working on a sizeable mining operation. You will be capable of providing technical expertise and achieving results, having had extensive experience across a variety of mining projects. You will be a positive communicator who has the ability to build and maintaining strong working relationships; and a proven capability to drive change and development as required.
