Demand Planner
An excellent opportunity exists in our clients Supply Chain Division in there Adelaide Office for a Demand Planner.
Major duties include:
· To ensure activities relating to the Monthly Demand Planning and S&OP cycle are completed in a timely manner.
· To drive ongoing improvement in the forecasting and demand planning process such that improvements in forecast accuracy can be demonstrated.
· Maintain the planning system configuration and master data related to demand planning and provide oversight to Supply Chain Planning Analysts in execution of maintenance.
· To manage the forecasting system to ensure high levels of data integrity produce accurate demand planning outcomes.
· Collaborate closely with key business stakeholders to ensure Demand Plans are representative of client business plans and market conditions.
· Build effective working relationships with key client stakeholders including; Supply Chain, Marketing and sales managers working either in person or remotely
The position requires:
· Demonstrated academic achievement in tertiary qualifications including Engineering, Business, Economics, Law or Science
· 3-5 years experience in a Demand Planning function including S&OP
· Strong Analytical Skills
· Confident and able to prioritise own work, often within tight deadlines
· Preferred experience in Manugistics Demand and/or Fulfilment. Although experience in any leading Demand Planning tool such as Maugistics, APO,i2 or Mercia Lincs will be highly regarded
· Ideally experience in a large corporate environment
· Proficient in the use of MS Excel and, ideally MS Access
