This organisation, an independent industry body based in Adelaide, is about to undertake a major transformation in how they deliver their internal IT services to the business. Their core business is to provide data collection, analysis and reporting services to their industry.

This transformation will include changes to their software systems, infrastructure and services at various levels. The opportunity exists to be a part of this change from the start as a Database Programmer.

With a legacy system already in place, this role will be about supporting the current system while being a driving force in the ongoing improvement and eventual transformation of the environment. Ideally you will have a combination of the following skills:

• Understanding of the SDLC
• Proven Database Administration skills in a range of database technologies
• Database development skills
• Programming skills such as C/C++, embedded SQL, Java/JSP, PHP and MySQL
