An opportunity exists with our city based client, a large organisation providing a valuable service to the South Australian community, for an IBM Certified WebSphere Administrator.
This exciting contract role will see you putting your range of skills to work in the following Administrator responsibilities:
- Installation, configuration and Administration of WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTPS Server (IHS) or equivalent
- Use WebSphere Application Server administrative tools to configure and manage enterprise applications
- Assist with the deployment of server-side Java enterprise applications
- Have an understanding of the basic concepts of Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
In this role you will also need to demonstrate knowledge and understanding in the following areas of website development and Application deployment:
- How WebSphere Application relates to the WebSphere family of products
- Understanding of architectural concepts related to the above in a Virtual (VM) environment
- Experience deploying applications in clustered environment
- Experience integrating legacy applications into WebSphere
