This company have extensive expertise in delivering ????? ????? maintenance contracts for infrastructure projects throughout Australia. Due to strong performance and extensive growth plans, their rail business is seeking a Rail Supervisor to support the delivery of significant rail contracts in Adelaide.

 

This is a long term and highly successful contract which centres upon services for track project works. As the position holder you will have the overall responsibility of the delivery of maintenance services for track and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assess risk & ensure a safe work environment
• Ensure compliance with OHS & environmental & railway legislation requirements
• Plan site works for labour, materials & plant
• Supervise & direct track renewals & maintenance work
• Ensure timely provision of all resources necessary to meet the work program

 

The successful candidate will have knowledge of railway track infrastructure, its maintenance & application of standards along with a minimum of 5 years experience in planning & site control of railway maintenance or construction activities in a live railway environment.  You will also need excellent planning, programming and co-ordinating skills and good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
