The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is Australia’s foremost provider of official statistics. As the national statistical authority, ABS plays a key leadership and standard setting role for the wider national statistical system.
We are seeking highly talented executives to assist senior management in strategic direction setting and management of the organisation, to deliver and manage work programs, build people capability, to foster the next generation of ABS leaders and drive continuous improvement.
The roles include responsibility for statistical work program management including survey development, planning operation, analysis and client engagement.
You will have knowledge and demonstrated expertise in statistics in areas such as: macro and micro economics; labour market; price indexes; population and migration; health; culture; and social and environment statistics.
