Our client is a Leading Distributor of Electrical and Data Communication products to General Industry and Electrical and Data Communication Contractors. This exciting career opportunity is pivotal in co-ordinating the total credit functions for the region that includes 20 service centres across South Australia and Northern Territory.
The position requires a highly motivated and self-disciplined individual, who will be an outstanding negotiator, co-ordinator and relationship builder with both external clients and within the service centres. Working closely with the General Managers for SA and NT, and supported by a small and dedicated team of credit professionals, you will be able to show entrepreneurial flair that will enable the region continue to deliver outstanding results.
The major area of responsibility in this position will be for account applications, collections, financial analysis, establishing and maintaining credit limits and keeping ledger accounts within trading terms including reconciliation of accounts in arrears. This will be obtained through outstanding people skills, an ability to negotiate at the most senior level and to build a team of skilled professionals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background within Credit Management and ideally have working experience within industries associated with building, services, trades and or manufacturing environments.
