Storeperson / Customer Service

  • Ongoing role in southern area
  • Selling building supplies to Tradespeople and the Public
  • Stores and customer service experience essential

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated storeperson with solid communication to skills to work in a reputable national company.

Working down south at our clients warehouse in the role of Customer Service/ Storeperson, your duties will include - packing, selling and computer entry of goods coming in, or going out of the warehouse.

This position is a combination of Sales and Warehousing. The sales aspect is assisting customers with volume purchases of  trades supplies. A general understanding of building material is an advantage.

The position of Customer Service/ Storeperson will perform a variety of tasks:

  • Unload goods + Order picking
  • Data entry on computer system
  • Professional customer service
  • Packaging orders for customers
  • Forklift license and driving experience (not essential)
  • Stock control and Invoicing 
  • Advise supervisor on stock and re-ordering levels
  • Help keep the work area neat and tidy
  • Ensure OHS compliance
  • Some cash handling duties
