Storeperson / Customer Service

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated storeperson with solid communication to skills to work in a reputable national company.
Working down south at our clients warehouse in the role of Customer Service/ Storeperson, your duties will include - packing, selling and computer entry of goods coming in, or going out of the warehouse.
This position is a combination of Sales and Warehousing. The sales aspect is assisting customers with volume purchases of trades supplies. A general understanding of building material is an advantage.
The position of Customer Service/ Storeperson will perform a variety of tasks:
- Unload goods + Order picking
- Data entry on computer system
- Professional customer service
- Packaging orders for customers
- Forklift license and driving experience (not essential)
- Stock control and Invoicing
- Advise supervisor on stock and re-ordering levels
- Help keep the work area neat and tidy
- Ensure OHS compliance
- Some cash handling duties
