My client is leading IT Solutions provider who are currently looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to support their Managed Services Business Development Team.
Your role will involve providing per-sales support, working with customers to understand their infrastructure and applications requirements, designing solutions to meet the requirements, working with cost analysts to price the solutions and contributing to associated proposals. You will work closely with the National Bid Team and SA Business Development Team to develop Managed Services opportunities. You will also be responsible for developing and executing a successful solutions strategy and business plan.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- You will have five or more years of experience in a Managed Services environment either as a customer or supplier.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and architect infrastructural management solutions.
- You will have experience in a range of IT infrastructure support roles at a senior level encompassing Networks, Systems and Applications and Architectures.
- You will have knowledge of Routing, Switching and Network Security.
- You will have an understanding of ITIL approaches to a Managed Services Environment. ITIL certification desirable.
- Experience as part of a bid team in the development of customer solutions and proposals.
- Experience in presentations of proposals.
- You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You will be creative, enthusiastic and analytical.
