As a BDM the primary purpose of the role is to increase the amount of new business generated from both new clients and from the existing clients within the portfolio you will be responsible for.  In order to achieve this growth you will leverage off existing commercial relationships, build new commercial relationships and establish a third party referral network that is the envy of your competitors.  The company has an experienced back office team and support network so that your time can be spent effectively building new business relationships and writing new deals. 
 
The ideal candidate will have experience as a commercial BDM and preferably possess recent experience in an equipment finance sales environment.  You will boast proven business development skills and will be able to utilise your existing networks to acquire new business.  Preferably you will have a strong understanding of credit policy, lease finance structuring and financial analysis.  Superior verbal and written communication skills are a must in this role as you will be dealing with both internal and external customers.
