Kinetic Defence is the leading supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace industries. Our client is currently looking for two experiencedDefence Systems Engineers who are looking for a challenging position with Defence Prime Contractor.

Working in conveniently located and modernfacilities, this role will have you joining a professional team that works oncutting edge domestic and international projects.

This role will NOT have you integrating existing technology, but working on new bespoke systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Resolution of inter-system system design problems
• Liaise with the system subcontractors on technical matters.
• Assist in the development of sensor and C4I function tests.
• Participate in safety analysis.
• Support the Design Authority and Integration and Test Manager as nominated.
• Participate in Design and Test Working Groups as required.- Participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities.
• Use the Integrated Product Development Environment (IPDE) as the enabling technology to provide integrated and controlled test records. Contribute to the relevant elements of the Quality program within the systems IPT.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications in software or electrical/electronic engineering.
• Experience in hardware and software integration and test of a Tactical Data Management Systems, Command and Control Systems or Communications Systems will be of benefit.
• Experience in Radar or Command and Control systems will be of benefit.
