Currently my client is seeking to appoint a bright and enthusiastic Configuration Controller who possesses proven experience gained from within the Rail or Transport Engineering industry, to perform an accurate Configuration Control on an exciting Infrastructure project.
This exciting and innovative role requires the successful applicant to:
- Provide administration coordination for the team
- Perform configuration control/administration duties for the project
- Process orders and manage documentation requirements
- Track orders through the entire process and ensure status updates
- Controlling & issuing documentation pertaining to specific projects
- Ensure audit trails are performed and documented
- Assist in administering all documentation to do with contracts
- Document control and procurement
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Extensive numeracy and literacy abilities
- Proven document control experience
- Sound knowledge of Procurement & Configuration policies & procedures
- 3 years + Configuration/Procurement support experience from within Rail, Infrastructure or Transport Engineering
- Fast and accurate coordination skills
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
