World Vision Volunteer – Child Sponsorship

    World Vision is Australia’s largest overseas aid and humanitarian organisation. As well as providing relief in emergency situations, we work on long-term development projects with local communities to address the causes of poverty and help them become self-sufficient. Our mission is to engage Australians in the effort to eliminate poverty and its causes.
     
    As a World Vision Volunteer you will:
    • Promote Child Sponsorship and World Vision Products
    • Set up, maintain and pack down a presentation
    • Complete Administrative forms
    • Provide retail feedback to State Office
    To be successful, you will need:
    • Proven ability to proactively engage and communicate with the general public
    • Self motivation, high self-esteem and high energy
    • Firm commitment
     
    Attendance at training on the 8th and 22nd of October, from 6.00pm to 9.00pm, is compulsory and conducted at World Vision Australia, South Australian State Office.
     
    A compulsory pre-campaign briefing will be held on the 29th October, from 6.30pm to 8.00pm and a mid-campaign briefing will be held on the 30th November, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
