SA State Office – Christian Partnership Manager

  • World Vision is an international non-denominational Christian humanitarian partnership with over 90 national offices. World Vision Australia is one of the largest offices within the global partnership, and is Australia’s largest international development agency. Our Christian commitment engages faith as a holistic way to achieve developmental objectives. We will emphasise the social justice aspects of the gospel.

    As well as providing relief in emergency situations, we work on long-term development projects with local communities to address the causes of poverty and help them become self-sufficient. Our mission is to engage Australians in the effort to eliminate poverty and its causes.

    The Christian Partnership Manager will develop relationships with Churches and Christian organisations in South Australia and the Northern Territory. These relationships will continue to contribute to the nation’s social transformation and build an engagement in mission which witnesses to Jesus in life, deed and word.

    This full time role is based in Adelaide and would suit a highly motivated and enthusiastic leader.

    The responsibilities will include:

    • Development and implementation of the Church segment strategic plan
    • Identifying and creating new relationships and opportunities with churches and Christian organisations
    • Enhancing existing partnerships with Christian Organisations and churches
    • Working in partnership with State Office staff to achieve collective state goals
    • Actively contributing to the National Church team in shaping strategy and sharing ????? ?????
    • Budget and staff management within the Church segment

    The following qualities will make you an ideal candidate:

    • Formal study in theology and/or extensive work experience with churches 
    • Proven ability to manage, lead, motivate and inspire
    • Excellent interpersonal,  public speaking and presentation skills in the church and organisational context
    • The ability to influence and communicate World Vision values and vision
