To continue to expansion of the shared services platform across the Pacific Zone, a position has become available within the indirect purchasing team, reporting to the Market Manager.
 
As a Strategic Buyer, you will have extensive experience in Indirect Purchasing supported by a strong contract management background to include tenders, supplier negotiations and relationship management.  You will play a vital role in the delivery and execution of the procurement shared service solutions that leverage significant savings across the zone through support function cost reductions.
 
Key functions for this position include consulting widely within the zone to understand needs and identify cost saving opportunities.  You will also develop and manage client relationships and over lead cross-functional business teams to develop, execute and monitor strategies.
 
It is a requirement of this position that you will have a refine communication style, the ability to build relationships at all levels and be results driven.  You must have formal qualifications in business studies and/or equivalent work experience in an industrial or commercial environment with a purchasing process.
