"Our client is a leading South Australian packaging company established for nearly 25 years and closely aligned to the food industry. It is continuing to grow both nationally and internationally.

This family run business is well known for manufacturing ????? ????? innovative and problem solving products using "modern technology" to achieve an "old world" appearance and style.

A quality assured company, they are seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to support the Company Accountant.

This position includes:

Bookkeeping for for three companies and trusts;
Accounts Payable, Receivable and General Ledger to trial balance;
Preparation of BAS;
Purchasing;
Creditor Reconciliation;
Payroll including payroll tax, workers compensation and superannuation;
Maintain asset register; and
Assisting the Company Accountant with reporting.

The successful candidate will have sound hands-on practical knowledge of Quickbooks, excellent communication, a flexible attitude and intermediate Word and Excel skills. This position requires an honest, reliable person with good attention to detail, the ability to multi task and the ability to work to strict deadlines is essential.

A salary commensurate with experience and skills will be negotiated with the suitable applicant.
