Expect A Star currently has a position vacant for a qualified cook in the Deakin area.  In this position you would be required to prepare and present healthy and nutritionally balanced meals to children aged 0-5 years of age. This centre caters for up to 90 children so they need someone who is organised, confident and most of all someone with sound knowledge and understanding of what would be required when planning and preparing ????? ????? for children with food allergies. 

Essential Criteria:

• Food Handling (Food Safety and Hygiene) Certificate
• High quality verbal and written communication skills
• Experience cooking in both a domestic and commercial kitchen
• Ability to meet deadlines and work to a set routine
• Nutritional and dietary requirements for children aged 0-5 years
• Show initiative and work with minimal supervision
• A candidate who is highly organised and efficient in all tasks and duties as you will be responsible for your kitchen

It is preferred that the ideal candidate have experience in planning and preparing ????? ????? nutritionally appropriate meals for children aged in the 0-5 years age group.  

All applicants are required to have a Commercial Cookery Certificate III, a Food Handling Certificate or Food Supervisor Certificate from a recognised institution.
