The course has been designed to meet the needs of all involved in the area of web-based teaching and learning. This includes teachers, education officers, training and development personnel across all professions. The course content and experiences are developed within the context of each individual's specific needs and circumstances.
This course is delivered fully online and involves a range of individual and collaborative learning activities. Assessment includes opportunities to tailor requirements to individual needs.
To qualify for the award a candidate must pass units to the value of 24 credit points at 500-level.
A candidate shall:
(a) hold a three or four year pre-service teaching qualification of a recognised University or tertiary institution; or
(b) hold a bachelor degree and a one or two year pre-service teaching qualification of a recognised University; or
(c) hold a three year degree of a University approved by the School; or
(d) satisfy the School by means of other qualifications and relevant experience of adequate preparation for candidature; and
(e) comply with the University's English Language requirements.
English Language Requirements:
- an IELTS score of at least 6.0 (minimum sub-band score of 5.5)
- a TOEFL score of at least 213 in the computer based test or at least 79 in the Internet based test (minimum of 22 in the written test)
