The Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO) plays a vital role supporting the Australian Defence Force (ADF) by
acquiring and sustaining materiel and equipment for military operations. From fighter aircraft and satellites to tents and
rations, the DMO is arguably Australia’s largest project management, logistics and engineering services organisation. We
are a public service organisation involved in many of the largest and most technologically demanding projects in Australia.

The DMO Institute is a 'one stop shop' for training and certification for our people. The DMO Institute engages

As a vocational trainee on our Materiel Vocational Employment Scheme you will be provided the opportunity to use your acquired TAFE
knowledge and skills to complement your continuing study program with relevant, exciting on-the-job work experience in a
unique environment.
As an undergraduate on our Materiel Cadetship Scheme you will be supported through the final year/s of your degree and this Scheme
will prepare you for a professional career in the DMO.
Our 18 month Materiel Graduate Scheme provides you with the opportunity to use the skills you acquired at
university, while building on your experiences. You will work with expert teams and a mentor and your work will contribute
to nationally significant projects supporting the ADF.
