Merchandising Analyst

 

What does it take to feed Australia? As Merchandising Analyst with Cargill Australia, you will be part of a diverse international agribusiness with operations including oilseed and meat processing, grain and oilseed storage and flour milling.

Your key challenge will be to provide accurate supply and demand forecasting for grain, oilseeds and oilseed products so that we can improve trading and gross crush margins. As our resident expert in supply and demand reporting and system administration, you will pay meticulous attention to detail and demonstrate high level communication skills.

In addition to monitoring ????? ????? trends in related markets, you will also generate innovative ideas, identify opportunities for new business and customer solutions that contribute to profitable revenue growth. You will also provide general administrative and analytical support to Merchandising Managers and Merchants.

Tertiary qualified in a relevant area, you will have industry experience including data and information reporting and analysis and familiarity with Australian agriculture, consumer markets and supply chains. The role also requires knowledge of sales contracting and financial database systems (CAPS/JDE) and of IT applications, particularly Microsoft.
