Our Vision
The MPMSAA is an organisation which effectively communicates with the majority of Australia's 21,000 businesses and employers in the plumbing industries, to develop service leaders in their contribution to our community's health, quality of life and well-being.

About the MPMSAA
In 1891 the MPMSAA was established for the mutual benefit of hydraulic and heating contractors.
MPMSAA now provides a range of services to employers in the different industry sectors related to the plumbing & mechanical service industry.

MPMSAA members want their business to be successful and profitable. The resources of the Association have been developed to enable business people with common goals to come together to benefit from unity of purpose.
Industry Strategies & Developments
Members are able to network in their Specialist Industry Sectors or with the wider membership in regard to general business issues and with manufacturers or suppliers.

Members are supported with industry wide actions or new market developments with funding sought from the Commonwealth Government, State Government and Industry agencies.

Lobbying and Media Relations are undertaken by the MPMSAA on behalf of members or the industry as a whole. The MPMSAA is always concerned to ensure the industry point of view is clearly expressed and understood.

Members directly represent the industry on various industry bodies and Boards.

Services & Benefits
A wide range of business services is available to a member usually at discount prices. Members also have access to special arrangements made by MPMSAA with suppliers such as the National Bank and Specialty Insurance Underwriters.

Qualified and experienced industrial relations advisers assist members with employment matters including over-the-phone advice, interpretation of employment conditions, dispute resolution and unfair dismissal claims. Commerical information, advice and legal referral is available for members on contractual, technical and regulatory matters.

Education and training courses at subsidised prices are available to members and their staff to upgrade their knowledge on industrial relations, technical issues, OH&S, business arrangements and trade skills.

The MPMSAA Group Apprenticeship Scheme provides apprentices for members and enables flexibility in members' recruitment strategies.
