  • In 2001 Quest introduced Internet based Referral Networks in the search for professionals and executives in technology
  • Advertising alone cannot be relied upon to find the required candidate for many senior sales, marketing, technology and executive positions. Databases are typically out-of-date and often do not point to the person who is sought, even if they are in the database. The use of the telephone to approach individuals as a search process is inefficent and intrusive.
  • Quest Management began operation as a recruiter for IT sales executive in 1986 and by 2001 it was time to use a new Referrals methodology to find the elusive star candidates. Quest Management's candidate database was the starting point in the creation of a Referrals Network and the use of broadcast emails as a newsletter replaced the telephon. The provision of Referral Fees encouraged the participation of the network members and Quest Executive replaced Quest Management.
